In light of the new "critique" subscribers only feature.
I don't know about you, but beside the Old crit format being fine, I don't think its right to ask people to pay for a critique, especially with the new system being so Opinion based as opposed to artistic fundamentals of design based.
yeah, I couldn't understand it either. I've tried to give a couple crits, and all it's done is thrown it back in my face, by people leaving comments on my crits about giving full "stars." The stars aren't even whats important, it's what's being said.

The new system definitely needs to be for everyone, this one ass who works for dA says they need it to be for subscribers only to get more subscribers *rolls eyes* Yeah like that's the kind of stuff subscribers were bitching about.

I have noticed that DA has been really money orientated lately. o_O; When I saw the crit thing though... all that ran through my head was "Something about leaving a critique seems like it would end badly in most cases..." But I always think that because a lot of people I meet aren't asking for an opinion, they were just trying to look good while they fished for complements. XD

I don't kno about you, but there's no way in hell I'm paying someone else to give me their opinion on my artwork.
The whole system really is just to get people to THINK they can some how gain new watchers. Becuz, you know, that's the only thing artwork is good for. </sarcasm>

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
